Reduce the risk of fire.
Each time the dryer is used lint builds up inside the duct. Heat from the dryer’s flame can ignite the lint in seconds (usually without the user knowing). The more lint buildup, the greater the risk. Condos and high rises pose the greatest risk because if one condo catches fire, the entire building could catch fire.
Lower energy bills.
When lint buildup restricts airflow, it can take 2-3 cycles to dry clothes, thereby increasing energy costs.
Avoid costly repairs.
Condensation buildup in a duct can leak on to drywall and cause thousands in water damage. Heating elements and motors tend to fail more frequently when vents aren’t maintained.
“The U.S. CPSC estimates that in 1998, clothes dryers were associated with 15,600 fires, which resulted in 20 deaths and 370 injuries. Fires can occur when lint builds up in the dryer or in the exhaust duct. Lint can block the flow of air, cause excessive heat build-up, and result in a fire in some dryers."

NFPA recommends annual inspection of Chimneys and cleaning if necessary.
When combined with dryer vent cleaning, costs can be dramatically reduced.

Overheated Clothes Dryers Can Cause Fires
CPSC Document # 5022 (Updated June 2003)

Most other companies only wipe the hoods and clean the filters. Meanwhile hidden areas, such as the ductwork, don’t get cleaned. This increases the chance of fire and puts your establishment at risk. Over the years, restaurant owners and facility engineers have come to rely on Vent Pros as the leader in kitchen exhaust cleaning. Our process thoroughly degreases and power washes all components such as fans, hoods, filters and ductwork.
It’s your investment...protect it the right way!
Potential Fire Hazards Include:
The ignition of highly flammable grease within the ducts.
Clogged fire extinguisher nozzles may not work in the event of a fire.
Restriction on airflow can burn up motor.
Additional Benefits:
• Satisfies Insurance, Fire Marshall, Health Dept. and NFPA.
• Reduces smoke.
• Prolongs life of equipment.
